Chemonics International, a U.S. based international development consulting firm, is seeking expressions of interest from long-term professionals for anticipated USAID-funded projects in Ghana seeking to increase agriculture-led growth through trade capacity building, enabling market linkages for agricultural development, financial services, value chain strengthening, institutional strengthening, and agricultural productivity.

We are seeking specialists in the following areas:

• Agricultural finance and investment
• Value chain strengthening
• Market linkages and trade capacity building
• Trade policy & regional integration
• Public sector capacity building
• Policy development – finance, trade and agriculture
• Agribusiness, marketing and investment promotion
• Regional trade of agricultural commodities
• Commodity specialists in maize, fish, shea, cocoa
• Small, medium enterprise development
• Post-harvest handling, storage and processing, supply chain
• Women and youth inclusion
• Monitoring & evaluation
• Grants management and operations

Required Skills or Experience

• Advanced degree preferred in economics, agriculture or business-related field
• Prior experience with USAID projects highly preferred
• Proven track record in successful delivery of technical assistance
• Proven managerial/supervisory experience
• Experience working collaboratively with the Government of Ghana, international donors, and local organizations
• At least 6 years experience promoting agricultural production and marketing
• Fluency in English is required
