A reputable company is looking for Team Leaders in Accra and Kumasi for an alcoholic beverages project.

Profile:

Team leaders will supervise a team of enumerators that work in trade, and make sure that they can work as effectively as possible. They will supervise and oversee their team’s tasks and plan and manage the corresponding logistics. They track the team’s presence/absence. They visit the team in trade and conduct random spot checks of the information that was captured. They will also be involved in training the enumerators and evaluating their performance. Fundamentally, a team leader is the pillar of their team, ensuring that they have the skills, resources, and support needed to collect the outlet data.

Tasks / Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with the team.
• Train team in required skills such as data collection and customer relationship management.
• Ensure that the team hits their daily targets of outlets to cover.
• Visit team in trade daily.
• Conduct random spot checks to ensure that the collected information is accurate and outlet contact persons were satisfied.
• Report back to manager about progress and any issues.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of FMCG experience working in informal markets.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must have experience with team management.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business or a related field).
• Should be able to read, write, and speak English and the region’s local language well.
