Overview

A multinational company into the production of quality and healthy biscuits is looking to hire an Accounts person with experience in factory accounting to work with.

Applicants with no experience in Factory Accounting will not be considered! 

What You Will Do

1. Manage all accounting transactions
2. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
3. Ensure timely bank payments
4. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
5. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
6. Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
7. Audit financial transactions and documents
8. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
9. Comply with financial policies and regulations

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• Minimum of a Degree in Accounting / Finance
• Must have experience in factory Accounting 
• Must have between 2-5 years relevant working experience in factory accounting 
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Applicants must live in and around Spintex, Accra
