Job Description

• Perform qualitative and quantitative research and consultation on relative markets
• Analyze past operations’ results and perform variance analyses.
• Identify and analyze trends and forecasts and recommending improvements to the business processes.
• Research economic and financial market trends, conducting surveys, analyzing data from competitors to identify patterns of potential issues or improvements.
• Design data analytics models  for interpretations to guide the decision-making process of the business and clients
• Apply statistical, economic, and data modelling techniques and tools to reach empirical data conclusions for profitable application in business decisions
• Organize and analyze data, create charts and graphs, and present your findings to the leadership team.
• Develop a strong and dynamic economic and financial research database that industry players can leverage for market patterns and investment decisions.

Qualifications

Applicant must have;

• A Masters Degree in Economics,  Statistics,  Mathematics or any related field
• A strong background in applied research or data management
• A strong mathematical,  analytical and data modelling skills
• The ability to manipulate large complex data sets into manageable, understandable reports
• Familiarity with statistical data modelling software and Excel software
•  Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• A team playing spirit
