Overview

A small mechanic shop and car rental company needs a result oriented Manager to run the day to day activities of both workshop and car rental service. A mechanic is responsible for inspecting and repairing vehicles, machinery, and light trucks. Also known as service technicians, these professionals oversee maintenance inspections, monitor inventory, assemble mechanical components, and perform repairs. They usually work in garages that are indoors  Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.

Job Function/ Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle engine.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components.
• Diagnose issues timely and accurately.
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems.
• Conduct regular maintenance work such as replacing fluids, lubricating parts.
• Schedule future maintenance sessions.

Requirements

• The manager should have good knowledge about cars
• Be able to manage workers and clients, good with social media, attention to details
• Experience in a similar position will be an added advantage
• Degree in automotive technology or a related field.
• They should ideally hold a high school or vocational training program diploma.
