Trade Account Manager at A Reputable IT Firm

Overview

An estimable Mobile and IT solutions company requires the service of a Trade Account Manager.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for growing revenues and margins based on the targets.
  • Manages a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
  • Develops positive relationships with clients.
  • Constantly monitoring existing accounts, with a target of growing them by a % YOY (Year-over-year ).
  • Progressive Rate and pricing management/set the individual network price per customer and price change configuration.
  • Research and establish contact with new leads.
  • Driving new business and sales for the Wholesale business with a targeted number of accounts to be added each quarter.
  • Representing the company at relevant events and conferences and setting an ROI of the event.
  • Responsible for the Buy and Sell (Bilateral Relationship Management) for the accounts as well as the profitability of the account.
  • Acting as the sole interface with the account from a commercial stand.
  • Acts as an escalation point for the technical/financial problems and resolves conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Work as a team to ensure the Wholesale team meets its objectives.
  • Communicate the progress of their accounts, and new requirements monthly to ensure smooth dealings overall.
  • Review and amend contracts as per agreed with the client/vendor in compliance with the company’s governance.
  • Communicate with routing any commitments, terms, and conditions, prepaid/postpaid for all their accounts

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

  • Bachelor’s degree holder of relevant discipline with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the wholesale traffic and carrier relations business.
  • Proficient English user both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Must be able to initiate and establish executive level rapport with telecom operators.
  • Structured thinker, pays attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Availability to travel.
