Vanguard Life Assurance Company Limited is a leading life assurance provider in Ghana, committed to delivering innovative and comprehensive insurance solutions to meet the diverse needs of our clients. We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven and experienced Relationship Managers (Bancassurance) to join our vibrant team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, supervise and motivate Bancassurance Sales Agents to achieve set sales targets
• Drive the sales of life and non-life insurance products through assigned bank branches
• Build strong relationships with bank staff and branch managers to promote collaboration and product uptake
• Ensure daily monitoring of branch activities and provide guidance and coaching to team members
• Develop and execute weekly/monthly branch sales plans and performance reports
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities and recommend strategies for growth
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal operational guidelines
• Organize periodic sales activations, customer engagement events, and joint fieldwork
• Report sales performance and branch-level challenges to the Head of Bancassurance
• Support in resolving customer issues and follow up on policy issuance and claims processing.

Skills and Competencies Required:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 4 years’ experience in sales, preferably in insurance, financial services, or bancassurance.
• Prior experience in managing teams and working with bank staff is a strong advantage
• Good understanding of life and general insurance products
• Certification from the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG) or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Sales-driven with strong negotiation and closing skills
• Ability to manage multiple branches and teams effectively
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
