Shipyard Mechanical Engineers – West Africa

Reports to: Operations Manager

What You Will Do

• Carry out major medium and high-speed engine overhauls as key member of a larger team or on solo assignments
• Perform assigned tasks to an agreed timescale
• Conduct fault finding and identify solutions
• Daily contact with customer on-site with progress updates and work scope variations on solo Assignments.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• Medium and High-speed engine and ancillary equipment knowledge
• Management skills including motivation, training and development
• Ability to lead major engine overhauls
• Marine and Offshore industry experience
• QHSE knowledge
• Above 2year of machines, and machanical experience
