Job Description

The Senior Tutor is responsible for the environment of the College as a place of excellence for undergraduate and graduate learning, for overseeing the management and delivery of all College teaching and for the support and guidance of Directors of Studies and Tutors

Job Function/Tasks 

• The ‘main responsibilities’ of a Senior Tutor are to: report directly to the Head of School or Director of Teaching (as appropriate locally) a
• Assist the Head of School in interpreting student feedback in order to guide enhancement of the PT system and inform annual review and management processes for individual PTs
• Take disciplinary action against students and staff members.
• Organize job fairs and talks by colleges.
• Give students advice when asked.
• Communicate with parents and board members.
• Attend industry-related conferences

Qualification Requirement & Experience

• Applicant must have served satisfactorily as a Tutor for a minimum of four (4) years and must have published a minimum of two (2) works, one (1) of which must have been published in a recognized peer reviewed journal.
• External assessors shall be required to evaluate candidate’s publications in line with the College’s Statutes.
