Job Overview

The Rice and Sauce Chef is a professional cook whose job is to produce all assigned menu items in an efficient and consistent manner while following the specifications, recipes and techniques of the company.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare Rice / Sauce for service
• Assure that each item is cooked to the Restaurant’s standard
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, burners, ovens and refrigeration equipment both during and after service
• Assumes responsibility for quality, food safety/sanitation and timeliness of products served

Qualifications / Experience / Skills

The Rice and Sauce Chef should have these qualifications/experience/skills to occupy this position:
• Basic food handling and preparation knowledge
• Familiarity with health and safety kitchen rules and regulations
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Working experience as a Rice and Sauce Chef for 2 years
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Senior High School Degree (optional)
• At least one-year professional culinary course (optional)
• Strong knowledge of food sanitation and HACCP regulations

The Restaurant is located at School Junction, Adjiriganor. Applicants should live within
Madina, Ogbodjo, Ashaley Botwe, East Legon and surrounding areas.
