We are looking for a results-driven Restaurant Manager to meet sales goals by hiring and training competent staff, overseeing kitchen operations and motivating staff during busy hours. Restaurant Manager will also be responsible for making needed changes to the menu, ordering ingredients for the kitchen staff and gathering feedback from customers.

To be successful as a Restaurant Manager you must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as experience in a restaurant environment. A good Restaurant Manager is able to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Hire and train staff members.
2. Supervise Staff
3. Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to sanitary regulations
4. Work closely with management to meet revenue objectives
5. Keep a meticulous record of income and expenses.
6. Implement appropriate strategies to resolve adverse trends and improve sales
7. Follow company policies and procedures regarding the handling of cash, property, products and equipment
8. Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability, and order products as necessary
9. Order ingredients in the correct quantities for the kitchen staff.
10. Communicate with customers to receive feedback and manage complaints.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• A first degree from university or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in the restaurant industry
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Bookkeeping knowledge.
• Ability to professionally address customer complaints.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Exceptional organization and leadership skills
• Dependable and reliable
• Must be able to drive/have a drivers license
• Must not live too far away from restaurant location
