Overview

Day Kare Health and Transport is a medical rideshare and on-demand staffing platform for healthcare organizations to arrange rides and on-demand care on behalf of their patients giving them access to better outcomes. Day Kare Health & Transport takes Patients to medical appointments and provide in home care as needed. Our accredited NEMT drivers will provide patient transport once booked by medical facilities like doctor’s office, physical therapist, chiropractors or other health care providers. The cost of scheduling a ride through the app is very affordable, Our rates are similar to those of a Uber and are available to all riders except those needing a larger vehicle or wheelchair accessible vehicle. All cost is billed monthly directly to the healthcare organisation insurance company or via card payment in the app. Patients get access to Fast, Safe, and Affordable transportation through our booking kiosk stationed at medical facilities like doctor’s offices, hospitals, nursing homes etc. Facilities sign up for the service which gives them access to the Day Kare’s admin panel. It’s that easy to schedule rides with Day Kare Health and Transport

What you will do:

As our Operations Manager, your role is mainly to implement the right processes and practices across the organization. Your specific duties as an Operations Manager include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance. You should be ready to build and mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. Ultimately, we’ll trust you to ensure the business remains compliant, efficient and profitable during the course of business.

  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
  • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
  • Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
  • Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives
  • Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
  • Manage budgets and forecasts
  • Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
  • Recruit, train and supervise staff
  • Find ways to increase quality of customer service

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field
  • Above 2+ years of operations experience with more than 3 years of financial reporting experience Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities and lead and train teams
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong conflict management, negotiation and organization skills
