A reputable construction firm in Ghana seek the services of various professionals in the construction industry as Materials Engineers

Responsibilities

1. Lead the quality control team
2. Ensure materials used on works meet specified standards
3. Explore and discover material sources for the works
4. Undertake field and laboratory tests on materials to ensure their suitability for the works
5. Liaise with clients/consultant on quality matters on the project
6. Assist the project manager in achieving the project objectives

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• A minimum of first degree in civil engineering or related field with minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality control in road construction or HND in civil engineering with 10 years experience
• Excellent communications skills.
• Proficiency in the use of contemporary laboratory technologies is an added advantage
• MS office
