Peduase Winery Ltd is a new wine company located at Kitase in the Eastern Region of Ghana.  The company’s focus is in the production of high-quality wines from palm juice, fruits, and herbs.

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Associate to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Head of Manufacturing, the successful candidate will:

• Support the winemaking process, from pre-fermentation to bottling
• Perform routine laboratory tests
• Maintain good records
• Help author standard operating procedures
• Support ongoing experimental and process improvement initiatives
• Supervise seasonal workers

Utilize our Enterprise Resource Planning software to keep track of inventories

Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Food Science, Enology or a science-related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 0-3 years of work experience.
• Fundamental understanding of winemaking processes preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, superb problem-solving skills, and ability to multi-task required.
• Superb computer skills required.
• Able to lift and carry up to 23kg; work in hot, cold, and wet conditions.
• Pre-employment physical examination required.
• Open to working some weekends and overtime.
