Our client is one of the first Microfinance institutions to meet the new minimum capital requirement of the Bank of Ghana.

What You Will Do

1. Keep abreast with clients’ business information to ensure accuracy of records for recovery.
2. Monitoring of loan clients to ensure recovery of all bad loans. (SME, Payroll, Personal & Business loans)
3. Monitor progress of existing and expired loans to determine recovery strategies for implementation.
4. Keep track of all outstanding debts.
5. Plan course of action to recover all outstanding debts
6. Locate, contact and build trust with all
7. Update account status and database regularly.
8. Negotiate payoff deadlines and payment plans
9. Identify gaps in the system and recommend solutions
10. Preparation of regular reports on recoveries and NPL status
11. Handle customers’ questions or complaints.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or any related field with five years (5) post qualification relevant working experience. OR
• First Degree in Finance, Marketing, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting or any related field with a minimum of three (3) years post qualification relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Microfinance Operations
• Proven work experience as a Loan Recovery Officer or similar role
• Hands-on experience with recovery procedures and products
• Good negotiation and persuasion skills
• Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
• Team player
• Strong analytical skills and judgement
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent Customer service skills
