Human Resource Assistant at Corporate Wellness Consultancy

Overview

We are dedicated to supporting families and young people through ensuring that high quality services are delivered by selectively choosing psychologists who have extensive experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a range of childhood, adolescent and adult difficulties including behavioural, emotional, social, developmental and psychological issues.

What You Will Do

  1. Assist the Human Resource and Administration with Client Registration and Filing / Data Management
  2. Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  3. Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
  4. Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
  5. Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
  6. Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  7. Process payroll and resolve any payroll errors. Having some knowledge in finance is a bonus
  8. Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice.
  9. Perform additional PA duties as part of the role

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related (essential).
  • At least 1 year of experience as an HR Assistant (essential).
  • Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills.
  • Exposure to payroll practices.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately follow instructions.

SELECTION CRITERIA

1. How many years’ experience do you have as a Human Resource Assistant?
2. Ability to undertake payroll and financial processes and a willingness to develop knowledge and skills in a broad range of HR and financial functions.
3. Ability to use initiative, discretion, manage competing priorities and deadlines with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Possess interpersonal skills which facilitate effective working relationships with team members, Senior Managers and other staff including the ability to establish and maintain empathy, integrity and complete confidentiality.
5. Possess verbal and written communication skills that enable effective and appropriate communication with a broad range of people at all levels.
6.Have Strong Interpersonal skills and knowledge in Technology.
7. Demonstrated excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise your workload to achieve positive outcomes.
8. Previous experience coordinating volunteers
