Overview

A reputable construction firm in Ghana seek the services of a Fleet Manager.

Responsibilities

• To plan, organize, and control the movement and transfer of vehicles, machinery and plant.
• Create and maintain a pool register.
• Undertake vehicle/machinery registrations
• Maintain a reminder system for vehicle and machinery registration & insurance renewals
• Recording and maintaining records of machine hours, vehicle kilometers
• Reporting on plant & machinery and vehicle conditions liaising with the mechanical team to ensure regular servicing.
• Put a mechanism in-place for swift attendance to fleet with breakdowns
• Recording and maintaining record of movement of all vehicles, plant and equipment
• To perform any other duties assigned or delegated by management.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• A minimum of first degree in engineering/administration/economics/social sciences or related field with minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position
• Experience in the construction industry is an added advantage
• Excellent communication skills.
• MS office
