Field Engineer Needed at Reputable Company. In order to Perform a variety of complex technical functions related to the support of engineering activities such as installation, operation, maintenance, modification, calibration, and troubleshooting of photocopiers, printers and scanners. Field Engineer  usually include inspecting and installing equipment and new technologies, directing crews or workers on site, conducting research, and reporting on project status. Field engineer will make sure that everything works smoothly and engineering designs are being followed.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Diagnose/correct equipment and system malfunctions which fail to respond to standard corrective measures.
• Prepare reports for management personnel to use in making decisions which will be instrumental in the ultimate performance of IT equipment.
• Maintain a centrally-shared information repository where above information can be retrieved for future use by other technicians/engineers.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
• Making plans using detailed drawings.
• Preparing estimates and budgets.
• Creating accurate project specifications.
• Designing engineering experiments.
• Creating technical reports for customers.
• Completing regulatory documents concerning safety issues.

Requirement /Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• 5 years diversified experience in the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, calibrating, and troubleshooting of Konica Minolta and Riso multifunctional printer.
• Ability to create reports.
• Knowledge of principles and processes involved in operating and supporting copier/networking functions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team.
• Ability to be innovative and be an agent for change.
• Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information.
