Agri-Impact Consult (AIC) is seeking to recruit Enterprise Development Officers for immediate employment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support training and on-site transfer of requisite technologies to the targeted project beneficiaries in greenhouse vegetable production, nursery management, good post-harvest practices, quality systems, market development and business development skills
• Management and supervision of day-to-day activities of project beneficiaries (Agriprenuers)
• Provide fertilization, irrigation, trellising, pruning, spraying regime schedules for project beneficiaries
• Collection of relevant data on production activities and submitting progress reports
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environment measures
• Liaise with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA) Extension staffs and other stakeholders within the District of operation
• Perform any other duty assigned to you by the Executive Director and Project Coordinator

Qualification Required & Experience

• BA/BSc/HND/Diploma from ATVET in Agriculture, Engineering, Marketing or related fields
• Experience in Agriculture, agro-industry, agribusiness or related activities
• Experience in using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Web conferencing Application, Information management systems

Other

• Required languages: English and one local language
• Travel: Must be willing to travel up to 30% of time
• Must be willing to be posted to any part of the project areas
