Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Asset Manager to play a crucial role in optimising our extensive portfolio of assets. This position is vital to our operational efficiency and financial performance, requiring someone who can effectively manage inventory, track asset utilisation, and contribute to the strategic planning of asset management processes. The ideal candidate will blend analytical skills with practical asset management knowledge to drive continuous improvement in our asset management practices.


The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who:

  1. Has a strong background in asset management, inventory control, and fleet management operations.
  2. Demonstrates exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make actionable recommendations.
  3. Possesses excellent organisational and time-management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Shows proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills, and experience with asset management or inventory software.
  5. Exhibits strong communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Displays a proactive, problem-solving attitude and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Has a keen interest in technology and its application in improving asset management processes.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in asset management, inventory control, or a similar role within the logistics or supply chain sector.
  3. Professional certifications such as CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) are highly desirable.
  4. Strong analytical and organisational skills, with a proven track record of implementing efficiency improvements.
  5. Proficiency in asset management software and advanced knowledge of data analysis tools.
  6. Excellent project management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
