Administrative Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our school’s administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees
  • Provide weekly updates on various bank accounts, including balances and transactions
  • Process payments for SSNIT contributions and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Prepare and submit monthly PAYE returns
  • Maintain and update building accounts, including rent and utility payments
  • Assist with BECE student registration and related tasks
  • Help administer mock exams, including logistics and supervision
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required, such as filing, data entry, and reception duties

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

  • Strong knowledge of financial administration and payroll processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environ
