Job Overview
The Executive Head Chef is responsible for all food related activities within the company, as well as the finding and training of all kitchen staff.
An Executive Head Chef creates and maintains a restaurant’s menu and identity. From recipe development to execution, Executive Chefs take the lead and ensure that food is prepared properly, safely, and according to company recipes & guide lines.

Responsibilities and Duties
In conjunction with the Food & Beverage manager, the Executive Head Chef will:

• Create, oversee & maintain all prep processes (cleaning, cutting, mixing, marinating, boiling, frying, roasting, portioning, storage)
• Make sure central kitchen staff, and restaurant kitchen staff are trained to prep, portion and cook food according to company guide lines
• Create new recipes
• Implement and maintain HAACP regulations
• Train central kitchen staff and restaurant kitchen staff in all kitchen processes; work in both till all staff are trained to company guidelines

Qualifications/Experience/Skills
The Executive Head Chef should have these qualifications/experience/skills to occupy this
position:

• At least one-year professional culinary course
• 2+ years’ experience in an executive kitchen position
• Demonstrated knowledge of current restaurant industry trends
• Must possess culinary creativity
• Strong knowledge of food sanitation and HACCP regulations
• Strong leadership, and the ability to efficiently train kitchen staff

The Location
The Head office is located at School Junction, Agbogba. Applicants should live within Haatso, West Legon, Adenta, Legon, Madina, Abokobi and surrounding areas.
