Job Description

  • Registering visa applications electronically
  • Handling enquiries regarding visas and residence permits
  • Printing of visas
  • Interviewing applicants
  • Filing and archiving of visa applications

Requirements

  • Graduate degree, commercial diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in an administrative environment.
  • Good computer knowledge (particularly Word and Excel), including typing speed
  • Solid knowledge of oral and written English. Other regional languages are an advantage
  • Previous experience in a related field is an advantage
  • If not a Ghanaian national: eligible to work in Ghana (the Embassy cannot assist with a work permit)
  • Knowledge of legal framework and social and cultural situation in Ghana, Nigeria and other West African states will be seen as an advantage
