Overview

Our client, a reputable International company, that provides quality professional training, consultancy and skills development locally to organizations both in the public and private sectors. The company is looking for an experienced Training Coordinator for Accra office.

What You Will Do

1. Map out annual training plans
2. Design and develop training programs (outsourced and/or in-house)
3. Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes)
4. Use known education principles and stay up-to-date on new training methods and techniques
5. Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials
6. Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session
7. Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with experts regarding instructional design
8. Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
9. Host train-the-trainer sessions for subject matter experts
10. Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• Leadership skills and team building
• Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
• Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
• Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation
• Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
• Experience with e-learning platforms
• MS Office proficiency
• Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
• Strong communication skills
• Master’s degree in HR, Training, Education or related field
