Uprise Travel LLC (USA), and its Ghana-based local agent Uprise Travel Ltd. are seeking a motivated and hardworking tourism professional to fill the role of Tour Operations Assistant.

What You Will Do

1. Creating 100% accurate tour budgets for tour packages every day of the week.
2. Editing and approving tour budgets created by other staff to ensure 100% accuracy.
3. Updating and maintaining 100% accurate booked travel document and ensuring proper funding for all tours by coordinating wires with management
4. Coordinating drivers and tour guides for 100% on-time pickups
5. Negotiating hotel prices and maintaining a log of the number of guests to stay in each hotel annually
6. Assisting our tour operations team by leading tours as needed
7. Reviewing tour guide receipts for accuracy and integrity

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• Diploma or higher education certificate (DBS, HND, or Degree) in accounting, business, economics, tourism or related field.
• Strong background in accounting, mathematics, MicrosoftExcel/GoogleSheets (or similar programs) or other fields requiring high attention to detail
• Commitment to achieving perfection
• Interest in raising the standards for tourism companies across West Africa
