Storekeeper

Overview

Our client, a class “A” Construction Company, seeks to fill vacant positions with qualified, dedicated, and experienced person as: Storekeeper

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory management systems.
  • Organize and store materials systematically to ensure easy retrieval and prevent damage.
  • Issue materials to site teams against approved requisitions.
  • Monitor stock levels and prepare timely requests for replenishment.
  • Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure safe handling, storage, and labelling of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all inward and outward stock movement.
  • Liaise with suppliers, logistics teams, and project managers to ensure timely supply of materials.
  • Enforce security measures to prevent theft or misuse of materials.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A degree or HND in Purchasing and Supply, Applicants should have at least 5 years working experience, preferably in the area of construction.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
