Job Overview
A Stock Keeper generally oversees the inventory control of restaurant’s store. The job description of a Stock Keeper involves devising best practices for maintaining balanced inventory records, and keeping track of all restaurant’s products and supplies by counting all items in stock, analyzing inventory records, ordering supplies, managing the processing and returning of defective items, and devises ways to reduce inaccurate inventory reporting and theft.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist the Food and Beverage Manager with operations regarding purchasing, storing and distribution of restaurant stocks
• Plan, implement and manage procedures to optimize inventory control
• Manage restaurant supplies and raw material
• Oversee daily inventory operations and identify bottlenecks
• Suggest solutions for continuous improvements
• Record and update all stocks taken in and out stores using inventory software (Excel and Google Sheets)

Qualifications / Experience / Skills
The Stock Keeper should have these qualifications/experience/skills to occupy this position:

• Previous working experience as Stock Keeper for a minimum of 2 years (optional)
• Experience using Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets preferred
• Great attention to details
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good time management skills
