Alster Technologies Limited is a fast growing software development start-up company located on the Spintex Road, Accra. We specialize in Next Generation Software Architecture and Development. Alster Technologies has vacancy to hire full time developers for the following roles:

1. iOS mobile apps developer
2. Android mobile apps developer
3. Backend API developer
4. Front end web developer

Projects begin this November so do well to apply as soon as possible. Alster Technologies boasts of the best project managers with experience from Europe and the United States building the best software developers work environment and company culture possible

What You Will Do

1. Developers will undertake rapid prototyping development for clients
2. Developers will provide production support and features development for existing company flagship applications
3. Developers will work on next generation technologies like data mining, computer vision, simulations, AI machine learning

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• Applicant should have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• If you had first-class during university education or on graduation, please indicate on your resume. First class graduates are preferred
• Developer must be comfortable with using Linux or Unix-like operating systems
• Developer should be have at least an intermediate level experience in the given field for which he or she is applying
• Developer should have a working project or prototype they can demonstrate during interview
• This is a full-time position, developer would be expected to work in office. This is not a remote job. Applicants outside Accra should be willing to relocate
• Experience with is following technologies is required:
  • Version control with GIT
  • Restful APIs
  • Java or Kotlin for Android developers
  • Objective C or Swift for iOS developers
  • PHP, Python, Java or Node.js for API developers
  • Angular and Javascript for frontend developers
  • MySQL, OracleDB, Postgres, SQLite or MongoDB
  • Unit testing
• Candidates with experience in the following technologies is preferred, please indicate on your resume:
  • Agile project management (Atlassian JIRA)
  • SFTP, SSH, Bash or Java Microservices for API developers
  • Google Cloud Messaging or Firebase
  • Amazon AWS cloud
  • Google Material Design
