Toldo is an IT service provider with innovation at the center of its activities. We are looking for individuals who share our passion about disruptive technologies to join us at our Accra office. The Application Developer will join a team of professionals with over 20 years of combined experience in IT, Telecom and ISP services.

Responsibilities

• Build and Develop new features for our exciting SaaS platform used by medium and large companies
• Maintain the current codebase and data stores
• Troubleshoot and solving production issues
• Optimize performance of code, databases, Cloud services and processes

Required Skills or Experience

Skills

• Knowledge of creating run books etc for the most common Automation tools like Ansible, puppet, Chef
• Developing applications using ASP.NET, MVC and C#, VB.NET, Python
• Object-oriented programming skills and a good understanding of data structures
• Understanding of RH OpenShift, DOCKER, Containers and Kubernetes
• You have programming experience with Java (J2EE), Enterprise Java Beans (EJBs), Java Server Pages (JSP), Java Servlets, JDBC, Eclipse and JBoss web server
• Self-starter (takes initiative) with critical thinking and analyses skills
• Knowledge of Bigdata Technologies (Hadoop, ETL/ELT, Informatica)
• Good spoken and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment and independently
• Knowledge of latest technology in video game and simulator development

Qualification and experience

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Software Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and work experience (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• 3+ years of experience developing applications using ASP.NET, MVC and C#, VB.NET, Python, Java etc
• Advanced knowledge of Middleware Infrastructure related to Web Apps and App design in general
• Experience developing and deploying cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS or Google Cloud
• Experience developing applications for Health-related clients (EMR/HER software) will be a huge plus
