Social Media Marketing Manager

A startup Import company in Accra is hiring for the position of Social media Marketing Manager to develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies & campaigns to meet organizational objectives. Effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization.

The role is remote
Location: Accra.

What You Will Do

  1. Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional stuff and activities
  2. Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
  3. Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
  4. Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
  5. Expand and develop marketing platforms including social media platforms
  6. Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
  7. Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
  8. Determine and manage the marketing budget
  9. Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget
  10. Report on return on investment and key performance metrics
  11. Develop pricing strategy
  12. Create marketing presentations
  13. Liaise with media and advertising
  14. Collaborate with the sales function
  15. Monitor industry best practices

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

  • Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies
  • Technical marketing skills
  • Proven experience in customer and market research
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge

  • Fair experience in social media management, whether that’s your own social media accounts
  • Keen understanding of what content engages and what content converts.
