NMJ GHANA specializes in Branding, Events, Marketing and Advertising and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Social Media Manager to join our team. This position is well suited to an individual who is looking to advance their career in New Media
and gain hands on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. As part of the Communications Department, you will work closely with the Communications Manager to streamline and upscale the company’s social media presence and positioning.

Duties

• Research audience preferences and discover current trends
• Create engaging text, image and video content
• Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
• Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
• Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
• Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way
• Facilitate online conversations with clients and respond to queries
• Report on online reviews and feedback from clients and fans
• Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and client engagement metrics
• Oversee social media accounts’ layout
• Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
• Strategize to increase the following of the social media platforms
• Market our social media packages to clients
• Managing official pages and portals of the company
• Managing blogs and social media handles
• Managing of all pages belonging to both clients of the company and the company as well is key
• Collaborating with web & graphic designer to bring out campaigns to suit activities of the company

Requirements

• Minimum of a first degree or from a recognized University or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
