Our client, a class “A” Construction Company, seeks to fill vacant positions with qualified, dedicated, and experienced person as: Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific health and safety policies.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Ensure all workers comply with statutory safety regulations and internal policies.
• Organize and lead safety induction and training sessions for staff and contractors.
• Regularly inspect tools, equipment, and work areas to identify hazards.
• Recommend corrective actions and enforce safety compliance on-site.
• Prepare and submit safety reports and accident logs to management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for occupational health and safety issues.
• Coordinate emergency drills and ensure preparedness measures are in place.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into construction planning.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• BSc in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction site safety management.
• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian and international HSE regulations.
• Excellent observational and reporting skills.
• Ability to enforce compliance in a professional and effective manner.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
