Overview

We are hiring Health and Safety Officer for our company to join the team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop specific safety objectives and create actions plans to meet those objectives
• Maintain, review and report safety performance, identifying opportunities for improvement along with implementing preventative and corrective actions as required
• Identifying changes in activities, products and services that may create new QHSE Risks or invalidate previously identified risks, aspects and hazards on an ongoing basis.
• Ensuring the contractor and his personnel working inside the company are aware and abide by the organization’s IMS requirements.
• Formulating methods to respond to, mitigate and prevent emergencies, testing them and communicating to authorities as per the organization’s procedure.

Knowledge and Skills Required

• NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA Certification
• University graduate/ BSc/BA in safety management, engineering or relevant field is preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a safety officer
• In-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g., OSHA/EPA) and procedures
• Very good knowledge of ISO processes and procedures
• Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
• Excellent written and Communication skills
• Good knowledge of MS- Office.
• 25 – 90 years old

Experience Required : 3 years
