Regional Sales Associate at ecoligo

ecoligo is pioneering the energy transition in emerging markets. We provide solar energy for businesses in countries like Ghana, Kenya und Costa Rica, lowering their energy costs and enabling sustainable growth. A small but growing team in Berlin takes care of the development, management and financing of these projects, which are funded by crowdinvestors on the platform www.ecoligo.investments. We are supported by an international team in our project countries.

We are currently looking for Regional Sales Associates in Accra, Nairobi and San José to build relationships with our clients and close deals to power their businesses with solar. We’re imagining somebody who’s charismatic, curious and energetic, who loves to speak with new people, find out the problems they face and find the best way to solve them. And, like the rest of the team, wants to spend every day working to solve the global challenges we face. Sounds like you?

Requirements

  • You have charisma and love to speak with new people every week, as if they were new friends
  • You know that you don’t know anything. You constantly ask questions. Questions are gold!
  • You feel most energy when you engage with people and try to find solutions to their needs
  • You like international and diverse teams and are open minded
  • You have an affinity towards renewable energies and/or solar power in particular
  • You understand the work environment of a start-up with its ups and downs
  • You are excellent in written and verbal communication and shine when you are the center of attention
  • You have a good IT understanding and fast fingers on a keyboard
  • Your time management and prioritization skills are superb and you never miss a deadline or task
  • You can work autonomously without losing contact to the team

Nice to have

  • A clear understanding of the solar market, ideally the C&I segment
  • Knowledge of closing deals and proven track record of such
  • Understanding of how commercial & industrial clients think
  • Technical knowhow of commercial scale solar PV systems
