A fast-rising company in Accra is looking for a publicist or journalist with hand-on experience in promotion of businesses and/or brands in the electronic and print media in Ghana.

Duration: 6 months
Job Type: Contract / Part Time

Responsibilities / KPIs

• Liaise with the media, creating contacts, and building a relationship with journalists and other media representatives;
• Write and present press releases aimed towards maintaining public awareness of activities of the company, as well as a positive image;
• Ensure the integration of digital and social media with press releases and media campaigns;
• Generate and manage publicity for the company via the following channels; Ghana News Agency, Various news portals in Ghana, A couple of radio and possibly TV segments
• Develop and organize at least one event for positive media projection of the company.

Requirements

• Media/Journalism background
• Experience in working/collaborating with multiple media houses in Ghana
• Exceptional communication skills; written, oral
• Diploma or Degree from a reputable institution.
