Overview

A multinational company into the production of quality and healthy biscuits is looking to hire a Production Supervisor to work with.

Applicants have at least 3 years supervisory experience in the food sector 

What You Will Do

1. Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
2. Check production output according to specifications
3. Submit reports on performance and progress
4. Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
5. Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
6. Oversee and coach employees
7. Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
8. Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
9. Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• Minimum of HND from a recognized university
• Must have experience working in the food sector
• Must have between 3-5 years relevant working experience in the food sector
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
• Advanced skills in MS Office
• Organizational and leadership abilities
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Problem-solving skills
