Overview

As the Operations & Fleet Manager, you’ll be at the heart of launching and running daily delivery operations on the ground. Your responsibilities will include, onboarding and managing riders, ensuring smooth delivery services across the clients outlets, and working closely with store managers to keep operations running at a high standard. The perfect candidate will be hands-on, excited by fast-paced environments, comfortable working directly in the field, and experienced in last-mile delivery or QSR (Quick Service Restaurants).

What You Will Do

1. Support the launch of delivery operations across different outlets in Accra
2. Recruit, onboard, and manage delivery riders to build a reliable fleet
3. Coordinate with outlet managers to ensure daily delivery operations run smoothly
4. Track and report on delivery performance (speed, order completion, customer experience)
5. Identify operational gaps and propose improvements quickly
6. Maintain strong relationships with riders and store teams, ensuring clear communication and accountability
7. Provide training and guidance to riders on service standards and safety

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• 2 – 4 years of experience in operations, logistics, or fleet management

• Prior exposure to last-mile delivery, courier, or QSR operations is highly advantageous

• Strong people management skills – ability to engage, motivate, and discipline riders

• Problem-solver with a practical, hands-on approach

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Comfortable working in the field and adapting to evolving operational needs

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred
