Peduase Winery Ltd is a new wine company located at Kitase in the Eastern Region of Ghana.  The company’s focus is in the production of high-quality wines from palm juice, fruits, and herbs.

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Assistant to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager, the successful candidate will:

• Handle incoming and outgoing raw materials/finished goods
• Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment/production facility (walls and floors)
• Execute production job orders
• Perform ALL fermentation, racking, bulk aging, filtration, and bottling operations
• Maintain good records
• Follow ALL Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Assist in taking samples for laboratory analysis
• Operate backwashing carbon filter, reverse osmosis, and ultrafiltration systems
• Utilize our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to keep track of inventories
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Secondary School/HND/Vocational or technical diploma/certificate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic math
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, superb problem-solving skills, and ability to multi-task required.
• Superb computer skills required.
• Pre-employment physical examination required.
• Open to working some weekends and overtime.
