Overview

A game lounge in Accra is looking to employ a Manager to ensure the smooth running of operations.

What You Will Do

1. Overseeing and supervising staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to the company’s standards, rules and regulations.
2. Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the shop-floor ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
3. Ensuring the safety, and security of the facility.
4. Maintaining and updating gaming systems and equipment for smooth operations.
5. Ensuring game availability and resolving any issues that may arise.
6. Handling customer inquiries and complaints, providing good customer service.
7. Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
8. Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or CompTIA Project+ are a plus.
• Proven track record of successfully managing IT systems and staff.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a managerial role with a focus on IT operations.
• Proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software systems.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Good organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to IT and facility management.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for service excellence.
• Competence in using IT management software and tools.
• Basic technical knowledge of gaming systems and equipment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
