What You Will Do

1. Inspecting facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
2. Preparing weekly maintenance schedules.
3. Supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers etc.).
4. Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc).
5. Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
6. Monitor inventory of materials and equipment.
7. Participate in the coordination of projects (eg. renovation).
8. Ensure adherence to quality standards and health & safety regulations.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• A minimum of a Diploma in Building Technology (Facilities Management) from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience as maintenance/facilities supervisor or similar role
• Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
• Excellent planning and leadership abilities.
• An eye for details
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of outlook, word and excel programs
