What You Will Do

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and Guide Windows L2 & L3 System administrators, Trouble-shooting, and problem solving.
• Monitoring of the Infrastructure environment and Capacity planning.
• Provide assistance and guidance to develop in accordance to Company policies and standards.
• Application and Database deployments and configuration in VMware.
• Install, Manage and Troubleshooting Support for Intel Platforms (Dell, IBM & HP Enterprise class including Blade Chassis and servers).
• Advanced knowledge and experience with VMware vSphere ESXi (Design, Build, and Operate).
• Install, Manage and troubleshoot Storage Arrays (specifically Dell EMC & NetApps).
• Manage and Troubleshooting Virtualisation platforms (specification, design and build) covering Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWARE.
• Systems management including backup and monitoring, Jenkins & NetBackup Backup tools.
• Specification, Design and Administration of Microsoft Exchange 2016, Windows 2012, Windows 2016 and SQL Server 2012
• MS Active Directory & MS Exchange 2013 design, administration and Troubleshooting.

• Windows Networking design and configuration.
• IIS Web, application server and database design.
• Windows performance analysis and tuning.
• Place control of the environment including conformance with standard controls checks and procedures.

Miscellaneous:

• Responsible for company Computer System Administration and Security, make changes and recommendations for improvements, setup new virtual environment for testing, or required company needs, strengthen security and apply security polices when are required.
• Executive reports of the health and ongoing of the infrastructure and IT administration. Follow the Best practices according to IT Governance guidelines.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

Key Skills:

• Hands On experience in Active Directory, MS Exchange Server, Offie 365, and Cloud Administration & Troubleshooting.
• Hands On experience in Windows Servers 2012 & 2016, VMware 4.0,5.0 & 6.0 and Hyper-V virtualizations.
• Hands On experience in SAN storage Set-Up – NetApps and NAS Servers.
• Hands On experience in IIS / Jenkins Backup / NetBackup.
• Hands On experience in WSUS Server/Client Management and Patch deployments.
• Having knowledge on Fortinet/Fortigate firewalls, Cisco PoE Switches, ISP Lease lines, EPABX and VoIP Telephone.
• Knowledge in Fortigate Firewall, Internet VPN implementation and troubleshooting
• Knowledge on PowerShell Perl Scripting.
• Knowledge on Databases – SQL / Oracle.
• VMware, CCNA and any Cloud certifications are mandatory and Storage Certification Preferred.
• Having knowledge in Linux OS – RedHat & Ubuntu Installation & Administration will be preferred.
• Should be ready to work from the scratch.
• Administering & Managing DataCenter experience is most preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Professional certifications in related areas

Experience:

• Relevant Work experience and certifications
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in the field using the VM-Ware, Hyper-V, Windows and Linux OS Installation, Administration and Troubleshooting.
• VMware – Expert Level
• Storage (EMC & NetApps) – Expert Level
• Hyper-V – Intermediate Level
• Linux (Redhat / Ubuntu) – Intermediate Level
• Dell Blade Server / IBM Server Hardware’s – Intermediate Level
• Good Communication Skills and Pro-Active approach to data security and administration.
