What You Will Do

1. Onboard and train new hires
2. Manage training and development initiatives
3. Keep track of employee performance
4. Manage and improve communication
5. Manage organisational and company culture
6. Create a safe and inclusive work environment
7. Assist in payroll preparation
8. Oversee the management of benefits and compensation
9. Handle conflicts, disciplinary actions, and terminations
10. Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation
11. Consistently recruiting excellent staff.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• A minimum of a Degree in Human Resource Management/related field
• A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a senior HR role in the retail or similar
• An expatriate who has lived and worked in Ghana for a long time will be an added advantage
• Must be a firm person
• French-speaking applicants will be an added advantage
• Good knowledge of Ghanaian Labour unions and Labour commission
• Knowledge of payroll systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with sourcing and evaluating candidates at all levels
• Experience in educating and coaching staff
