HR Manager (FMCG Industry Experience)

Overview

A multinational manufacturing company is looking to employ an experienced HR Manager with experience in the manufacturing industry to work with in accordance with local Labour law requirements of Ghana. The desired candidate will participate in Human Resource policies management, position management, talent recruitment selection, training management, salary management, performance management and other aspects to manage.


What You Will Do

  1. Human Resources Strategy: participate in drafting related human resource management system of the park, organize and arrange the implementation of the system for local employees.
  2. Assist HRBP to carry out the HR programs Assist HRBP to implement the Human Resources strategy of the branch company
  3. Recruitment Management: according to the department needs of employees, propose an internal personnel deployment plan (including internal transfer in and out), and after review, promote the optimal deployment of personnel.
  4. Improve the recruitment process and operation methods of each step and do the coordination work among various departments, etc.
  5. Periodically analyze the effectiveness of the recruitment results and the recruitment process, and output the recruitment effectiveness analysis report to HRBP.
  6. Training Management: Carry out, arrange and check the work of internal trainers, and review the handouts of training courses.
  7. Assist all departments to develop training courses, and arrange and follow up the training
  8. Check and follow up the training organization, track and evaluate the training effect and report to HRBP
  9. Salary & Compensation Management: Participate in the formulation of part of the park’s compensation management system provisions, compensation management norms.
  10. Accept relevant inquiries from employees and explain the company’s remuneration and welfare policies and calculation process
  11. Performance Management: Participate in the formulation and compilation of the performance appraisal system of all departments in the park
  12. Guide the implementation of performance assessment of all departments in the park and promote performance management
  13. Responsible for reviewing, collecting and summarizing performance evaluation files, accepting performance complaints and feedback, summarizing and analyzing them and submitting them to HRBP for review
  14. Employee Relationship Management: actively communicate with employees, assisted HRBP/MD to have regular or irregular conversations with core employees
  15. Participate in the establishment of employee feedback system, put forward corrective suggestions to the corresponding problem departments for the daily problems reflected by employees, supervise and improve them, and submit them to HRBP for review
  16. Participate in the formulation of archives management norms and systems, guide the establishment of staff archives management, and arrange for regular update, sorting and storage
  17. Maintenance & Communication of External Relations: assist in the development, establishment and regular maintenance of external public relations according to the needs of the company and the department, such as labor Bureau, social protection Bureau, health Bureau, etc
  18. Follow up, study and analyze information such as new policies and regulations of the government, and proposed improvement suggestions based on the human resources status of the FMCG park and submitted them to HRBP for review
  19. Team Management: conduct internal training for department members, such as new employee training, etc;
  20. Communicate with team members regularly to find out what’s going on in their work/life
  21. Supervise and evaluate the monthly performance of supervisors and specialists in his management team

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

  • Minimum of a Degree in HR/Management/Psychology/Sociology, etc
  • Minimum of 8 years working as an HR Manager in the Manufacturing Industry
  • Applicants must be younger than 37 years 
  • Must have working knowledge in Management, Statistic, Behavioral psychology, Ghana Labour Law, Enterprise Management and Public Service Management
  • Must have excellent reporting, oral & written, communication and coordination skills
  • Team management skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Analytical
