Overview

We are seeking a proactive and strategic HR Manager to lead our human resources function. This role is critical in shaping a strong organisational culture, driving talent management initiatives, and ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations.

What You Will Do

1. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies in line with company goals.
2. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff.
3. Manage employee relations and provide guidance to management and staff on HR issues.
4. Ensure compliance with labour laws, SSNIT, and workplace regulations.
5. Design and implement performance management systems to support staff growth and productivity.
6. Administer employee compensation, benefits, and welfare programs.
7. Drive initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture and high employee engagement.
8. Support organizational development, including succession planning and career development.
9. Maintain accurate HR records and prepare regular reports for management.
10. Perform any other HR-related duties assigned by the General Manager.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., IHRMP, SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years HR management experience, preferably in mining, extractives, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
