OVERVIEW

A Furniture retail company is looking for a capable professional to join their team as a Furniture Assembly Technician: you will be responsible for loading and unloading the truck, installing furniture according to the directions you receive and assembling items on-site. You will also help prep the job site and clean up after the installation is complete.

What You Will Do

1. Assemble furniture as needed
2. Install furniture according to blueprints
3. Mount cabinets and bookshelves
4. Prep and clean up the job site

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• A minimum of Diploma
• A minimum of 5 years working experience in same role
• Commercial driver’s license
• Familiarity with basic hand tools
• Ability to follow directions
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Physical strength to perform heavy lifting
• Mechanical skills
• All applicants must have the physical ability to load and unload furniture items from the delivery truck
