A company is sourcing to engage a team of field personnel for an ongoing project.

Job Description

• Survey, locate and mark underground utility
• Read and understand maps and aerial imagery to assist in the identification of underground utility
• Reviewing all locate request to determine travel route and timeline
• Using GPS/GPR instrument to locate features or Utilities
• Complete daily workload in time
• Responsible for care and maintenance of locate instrument
• Design work packages by creating polygon features indicating working zones
• Using AutoCAD and GIS packages (ArcGIS) to edit data taken from the field
• Store and transmit edited data
• Produce regular report on activities

Qualification Required & Experience

• Geomatic and /or electrical/eloctromechanical engineering background (Degree/HND)
• The ability, aptitude and desire to learn
• Basic understanding of GIS concept preferred
• Worked with various data types
• Performed basic survey using GPS devices
• Between 1 to 2 years relevant experience in data collection
• Completed National Service
