Overview

A modern and unique shea butter processing plant that is expanding to meet growing export orders is looking to employ a Factory Manager with hands-on agro-processing experience and excellent people management skills to be fully in-charge.  Must have the aptitude for innovative thinking and ability to ensure efficiency and professionalism to work with.

What You Will Do

1. Ensure the factory meets daily/weekly/monthly production targets.
2. Ensure the processing team maintains a culture of efficiency in all stages of the factory’s activities from procurement to packaging and exports.
3. Follow all laid down operational protocols including maintenance schedules
4. Submit monthly reports on all activities of the processing factory,
5. Present monitoring reports production, costs and staff performance.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• A minimum of HND from a reputable University
• Working experience in food, cosmetics manufacturing with demonstrable experience in managing teams working under Good Manufaturing Practices (GMP)
• Experience in managing multiple production teams in a shift system
• Experience in training and managing staff for efficient production
• Experience overseeing complex and modern agro-processing equipment
• Have good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace
