A Reputable Educational institution is seeking for Facilities officer in order to  provide assistance to ensure the day-to-day smooth management and operation of a building’s infrastructure through administrative support and, at times, overseeing maintenance tasks A facilities manager is a job role that is responsible for making sure that buildings and their services meet the needs of the people that work in them. Facilities managers are accountable for services such as cleaning, security and parking, to make sure the surrounding environment is in a suitable condition to work. They also manage any building maintenance with things like heating and air conditioning, to maintain the working environment.

Job Function/ Responsibilities

• overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including security, parking, cleaning, catering, technology
•  supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, grounds and security .
• The Facilities Executive or Facilities Manager is responsible for the part of the workplace management team that directly manages the facilities.
• Facilities Executives are typically responsible for developing strategic facility goals, monitoring space allocations, and providing efficient space use
• Supervise and ensure management of school’s facilities

Job Qualification/ Requirement

• HND or 1st degree
• 2 years Experience
• A related qualification in engineering, management or business studies for example or a relevant professional qualification
