OVERVIEW

A Furniture retail company is looking for reliable Delivery Drivers who are concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The Delivery Drivers will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client.

Founded in 1993, our client is a leader in the retail and supply of furniture in Africa. The company has a retail shop area of more than 50,000m2, 33 points of sale with more than 1,000 employees and 2 stores in sub-Saharan Africa. Ghana is the latest addition and Accra is the starting city.

What You Will Do

1. Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
2. Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
3. Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
4. Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
5. Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
6. Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
7. Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences

• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Clean driving record
