Purpose

To focus on the management and controlling of all administrative tasks and risk activities for the Custody business. The Operations Manager ensures that all laid down procedures and policies are adhered to. Also ensures that all settlements activities for Equities, Money Markets, Bonds, Cash, and Corporate Action transactions are processed in a diligent manner.

Experience and qualifications

• BCom Degree (or equivalent)
• 5 to 7 years banking experience
• A proven track record of experience in Custody and management (3 years)
• Advantageous to have an understanding and working experience of banking regulations, financial accounting and taxation, payment, clearing and settlement systems, credit risk, process mapping and reengineering, sales and treasury products
